Julian is located via a winding, 1-hr. backcountry drive northeast of San Diego, California nestled in the beautiful Cuyamaca Mountains amidst apple orchards, grassy meadows, and oak & pine groves. Once a frontier gold mining town, Julian is now famous for its delicious and highly coveted apple pie.

Julian is also on the famed Hwy. 78-brewery corridor known as the “Hops Highway”, dotted by craft breweries, small wineries and tasting rooms. Julian is known for some of the world’s best craft beer from breweries such as: Carlsbad’s Port Brewing, Escondido’s Stone, and Julian’s Nickel Beer Co.
